Autobase Announces Personal Service Teams for 2008

INDIANAPOLIS, IN - Autobase, Inc., the leading marketing and sales solutions announces a new go-to-market strategy including the deployment of Personal Services Teams

Autobase Founder, Bryan Anderson recently announced the company’s new go-to-market strategy following its acquisition by Norfolk-based, Dominion Enterprises.  Planned for full deployment by 2008, this new strategy includes the creation of Personal Services Teams (PST).

“The idea for building Personal Service Teams came from a passion to get back to our roots and restore highly-personalized contact with each of our dealers,” said Anderson.  Executive Director, Phil Barras, was appointed to design and implement PSTs for the 1,800 dealerships currently partnering with Autobase.  Under his leadership, each PST or “pod” will consist of one PST Manager, six Account Managers, several Technical Advisors, and two Customer Advocates.

The PST Manager will provide leadership in building long-term relationships with Autobase customers.  The Account Managers will work onsite and remotely with specific dealers by region. Technical Advisors will essentially provide first-level customer support on concerns called in by the dealership. And Customer Advocates are research analysts who constantly study usage data to identify areas where the PST can assist dealers in improving their system usage, productivity, efficiency, and profitability.

Each PST will be backed up by additional technical support analysts, professional trainers, and other resources. The total structure places a highly responsive team at the top of the spear to be in constant contact with specific dealers and addressing the specific needs of each store.

“We were long known for the personal side of our business, and are excited to get back to our roots by providing a highly personal and proficient team for every one of our clients,” said Anderson.  “The PSTs will demonstrate our commitment to dealers in a way that our competition cannot touch, serving each store by increasing its ability to sell more cars at lower costs day after day after day.”
