| There is a direct correlation relating the response time to Internet leads and the probability of selling vehicles from those leads. It is from this research that Ford Motor Company developed the Ford Lead Response Time (LRT) initiative. It is our privilege to announce that Ford has endorsed Autobase, Inc. as an approved LRT vendor. The Autobase Sales Center (CRM) and Autobase Loyalty Center (BDC) products each support this new initiative.
The purpose of the LRT project is to track response times of Internet inquiries generated by Ford Motor Company web sites. The LRTs are collected on a real time basis and reported to Ford each night. Ford collects this data from Autobase products and provides reporting to Ford dealerships on a regular basis. The goal is to help improve Internet lead response times and, thus, increase resulting sales revenues. Participating lead providers included in the reporting are as follows: DC New Quote Ford; ECoupon-FordDirect; FordDirect; FordDirect - Lead; FordDirect A/Z - Leads; and FordDirect X-Plan - Leads.
As of January 31, 2005, every Ford dealership will have to choose an alternative internet lead management tool if they wish to continue to receive Ford leads. Those Ford dealerships choosing Autobase to handle their lead management may go to www.fmcdealer.com and indicate, from the list available, that they would like to receive leads into their Autobase products. Ford dealerships needing assistance should contact their Ford regional manager. Participating dealers will need to contact Autobase Customer Support so that the Ford LRT program can be installed on the dealership server.
