Autobase Names R. L. Polk and Co. to Manage Database Enhancement Services

Agreement provides for services to help maximize customer database value

Indianapolis, IN - Autobase, Inc., the leading supplier of dealership marketing and sales solutions, has selected R. L. Polk & Co. to manage database enhancement services and assist in their all-new Virtual Marketing efforts.

The agreement provides Autobase with a centralized source of services which will enhance the value of its customers’ databases by standardizing address information, eliminating undeliverable addresses, locating valid contact items such as phone numbers and e-mail addresses, and appending key market data. 

As a result, Autobase will be able to help their dealers reach and market to prospective customers more effectively. “By centralizing our data enhancement services with Polk, we have a single, comprehensive source to help maximize the value of our customers’ databases,” said Scott Webber, Autobase Chairman and CEO. “These services will strengthen the ROI of our customers’ direct marketing campaigns, and reduce overall costs.”

Autobase now offers significant enhancements in Data Services. The Autobase Change of Address (NCOA) Scrub will now include a TotalSource Change of Address (TCOA) Scrub, which employs sources including magazine subscriptions, catalog houses, and insurance and credit companies to identify movers that did not file a change of address with the United States Postal Service. In addition, Autobase E-Append, with its opt-out process, appends additional valid email addresses to the database, while Phone Append locates additional valid phone numbers for contact.
