Bryan Anderson
Founder

Bryan Anderson entered the auto retail industry as a salesperson in the early 1980s and later served as sales manager and F&I manager. Through these years, Bryan envisioned harnessing the power of technology to aid in the showroom sales process. Since establishing Autobase, Inc. in 1988, Bryan has personally consulted with thousands of dealers on how to manage their sales processes with the aid of such technology. His experience, innovation, and vision have led to the design of six (6) generations of the Autobase software in the company's rich history. Today, Bryan continues to work on product vision to build competitive advantage. His long-standing drive and purpose has been to provide, not just software, but a total solution for today's aggressive auto dealer.

Phil Barras
Vice President, Dealer Services

Phil Barras studied business at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio and began his career in the automotive industry in 1977. He quickly progressed from sales to being a department manager, GSM and finally GM of a leading import franchise – a position he held for eight years. For several years prior to joining Autobase, Phil was an Autobase customer, having purchased the product for his own dealership. This experience would prove to be invaluable with both existing and potential clients upon joining Autobase in 1994. In 1998, he was named Vice President and began directing the sales and training efforts for the company. Since that time, he has assumed executive responsibility for strategic relationships with OEMs and industry vendors. Additionally, he now manages the all-new personal service teams currently being deployed across the organization.

Bill Leek
Vice President, Sales

Bill Leek has over 22 years experience in the Automotive Industry. Of those 22 years, 14 were spent in the dealership retail setting in various sales and sales management positions. He has extensive automotive industry knowledge combined with a deep understanding of today’s current technologies, which makes for the unique set of strengths necessary to maximize results for those auto dealers with whom he consults. Bill’s prior experience in management and sales in the automotive CRM & DMS industry includes ADP and Newgen Results. He attended Ohio State University and Columbus College of Art and Design and served in the US Military. Bill resides in Cleveland, Ohio, with his wife and two children.

Julie Wright
Director of Customer Support

Julie Wright started her tenure with Autobase in 1996 after completing her Master’s Degree at Penn State University. With her initial years invested in developing the training program and managing operations for a quickly-growing Autobase, Julie eventually took on the role of Regional Sales Manager. Through this experience, Julie has acquired a unique perspective on the best practices surrounding automotive CRM as well as dealership sales and marketing. In time, her understanding of the customer and keen focus on service triggered Julie’s move to her current role as Director of Customer Support. Julie also oversees Human Resources. Spending much of her early years traveling for Autobase, Julie is now able to spend time with her husband and two children, residing in Indianapolis, IN.

John Hardacre
Director of Product

John Hardacre joined the Autobase family in 1998. He has served Autobase in multiple capacities during his tenure including customer support management, operations management, and product development management. Currently, John serves as the Director of Product, where he most enjoys solving business obstacles for our customers through innovative software solutions. His broad experience with Autobase coupled with his industry knowledge has driven John’s focus on our customers’ software product needs. In 1994, prior to joining the Autobase team, John graduated from Ball State University. Today, he lives in Central Indiana with his wife and four children. He enjoys spending time with his family, soccer, and serving in his local church.

Steve Lausch
Director of Marketing

Steve Lausch began with Autobase in the summer of 1999, initially serving in the area of dealership support. Within months, Steve began working in marketing, where he better leveraged previous experience in technology marketing and sales. Steve was the initial designer for all custom web ads delivered through the infancy stages of the Autobase Virtual Marketing program (now, Autobase Business Solutions). Over the years, Steve has interacted closely with Autobase executives on strategic direction and planning, as well as with sales and product leadership to position and proclaim the Autobase brand. Steve received his BS with honors from Houghton College in 1994. Originally from the east coast, Steve now resides with his family on the north side of Indianapolis.
